Internationally acclaimed saxophonist Liverpudlian, Andrew Young, is set to perform at the Sandpiper Room in Mount Edgecombe Country Club with a fresh, electrifying new program, joined by Durban’s talented pianist, Shem Mahabeer.

The 1970s was a golden era of musical diversity. With genres like Funk, Soul, R&B, Pop, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, and Disco each rising to prominence, the soundscape of the decade was more varied than ever, defining an entire generation.

For this special show, Andrew Young will be performing a selection of iconic hits from this unforgettable decade. Expect timeless classics like Easy by the Commodores, September by Earth, Wind & Fire, Paradise Road by Joy, Just My Imagination by the Temptations, and I’ll Be There by The Jacksons, among others.  The Show climaxes with a rendition of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty that will leave you calling for an encore.
