About this event
International saxophonist Andrew Young returns to Christchurch Constantia for another much-loved Opening Summer Concert, accompanied by Cape Town’s acclaimed Tony Drake on piano/keyboards.
There is something very special listening to music within the beautiful surroundings and wonderful acoustics of the church. Andrew’s rich saxophone sound will fill this magnificent space as he brings his infectious energy, warmth and humour to a programme packed with favourites.
From the Beatles and classic rock & pop to beautiful ballads, memorable movie themes and timeless melodies, this is far more than a saxophone concert — it’s an afternoon of wonderful music and entertainment.
Andrew’s concerts at Christchurch Constantia have become a firm favourite, and we are delighted to return in 2027 for our 5th year.
Come and experience the beauty of Christchurch Constantia filled with music — the perfect way to celebrate summer.
